Meet Doug and Emily

My wife, Emily, and I purchased The Catch of the Cape on Valentine's Day of last year, did a fairly significant renovation over a 4 month period and then made it available for short term rentals in June 2022. The home has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a kids bonus play room, a pool table room, and lots of outdoor space including a large patio and large firepit area. The home sits on 3 lots so plenty of room for big groups with the house being able to comfortably sleep 14 with a mix of kids and adults. We've been coming to Cape Charles for the past 4 years and decided we enjoyed it so much we'd like to have a permanent place to come and enjoy with friends and family. We have 2 daughters, Henley is 6 and Parker is 3 so we are frequently in the candy store and ice cream shops when we're not beaching it. We really appreciate the efforts of the Vacation Homeowners of Cape Charles and are excited about the Good Neighbor Program launch.
