The Grand Escape

The Grand Escape is a 1912 Queen Anne style home located in Cape Charles, Virginia

The Grand Escape is a joint venture between three families. Almost immediately after our first stay we began dreaming of owning our own historic home in Cape Charles. A few years later, our dream became a reality and we purchased a vacation home. The home was first renovated in the mid 1990s and was left unoccupied for multiple years. During this period the house became dilapidated and overgrown and was in need of significant repairs. The house was lovingly restored to its former grandeur and has become a place to gather family and friends together.

Our realtor was contacted by producers of the HGTV show, Beach Front Bargain Hunt, and the Dail Family were chosen to be featured on one of the episodes. "Down by the Chesapeake" aired in April 2017.
